They fixed the issues of my car! That is very important.
I go to the one by my house, those guys are pretty good! They get the parts for me whenever they can, they order them right away. They bring me to the shop and show me what's wrong with the car and explain everything to me. Pretty confident with their abilities.
I'm in the networking group, so I see Joe every week. I go to him for my oil changes and for my inspections. The service is great, you're in and out very quickly and I never had any problems.
I think the gentleman's name is Richard. He was very helpful! I was able to explain to him what the problem was and he knew right away, on what needs to be done.
I mean it was fast! I dropped it off early in the day and I picked it up in the afternoon. The gentleman at the location actually took it upon himself to let me use his personal vehicle for the day, you know that extra extra effort!
He's reliable and I could always count on him down on the shop.

Unfortunately AAMCO was not able to fix the issue I had with my vehicle because it was outside of their specialty. I like the shop and I would go back because of their honestly and transparency. The fact that they told me they couldn't fix my vehicle says a lot. I feel like other shops my have taken the opportunity to be dishonest and tell me the issue was something within their specialty in order to make money off of me.

I tell everyone My Toyota is running so much better than it was before. The Toyota dealership tried to rob me. They told me I needed a transmission control module and a wiring harness. When I brought it to AAMCO they discovered that Toyota upon removal and installation the transmission broke the lock and cliff that is on the wiring harness. AAMCO saved me from spending a large amount of money on something that I didn't need. I recommend AAMCO to everyone I know and not just for transmission work for everything. The guy Roger is a very honest guy. AAMCO did very well by me and I appreciate them.

I had a great experience with AAMCO, especially with Mr. Roger Diaz. In 2015 he fixed my 2006 Ford Expedition, by troubleshooting and saving me lots of money by telling me I did not need a new transmission. My transmission lines were leaking and also all my spark plugs were broken in half. In Jan 2016 he replace my transfer case & install new muffler, and shocks. I wasted money with other shops and still had issues with the cars. Thank you AAMCO for doing a great job on my vehicles.

This mechanic shop is by far the best repair shop on Staten Island today, the people there are the most honest mechanics around, they do not try to sell you stuff you don't need like when you go to the dealer. Roger works hard to try to save the customer as much money as possible, they work on your car and they get it right the first time. I just wish this repair facility was closer to my house, I am on the other side of Staten Island.
I've been going to the AAMCO at RICHMOND AVE on S.I. For 3 yrs now and service there is great. Never had to come back for ANY repairs done by them. Roger and Joe are awesome very helpful and patient. Good service good prices.

This visit, like all of the the others turned out exactly the same. Excellent service from the second I walked in to the moment I left. Even though I hadn't been into the shop for at least a year, Joe and Roger both remembered me by name. I even got the to meet Anthony. I came in with what I thought was a major problem and within the hour, they confirmed my diagnosis. Two weeks earlier my wife had the brakes repaired by another well known brakes shop only because they are a lot closer to where I live. Needless to say, after 154 miles, all the work they did on one wheel in particular had to be done again because the rim hadn't been torqued tight enough. The rim itself will have to be replaced. Joe put one of his best guys to work on the car. It was after noon and the job was going to take 5-6 hours to complete. They assured me that my car would be ready the following day. I was fortunate enough to get a ride home from someone who happened to be at the shop and I got a ride back the next day from someone else that was going to the same area. All in all, Joe and Roger treat everyone with honor and integrity. There isn't anyone else that I will trust my car care to than the Staten Island AAMCO. GREAT JOB GUYS.

Joe and Roger were great. Extremely professional and friendly. Jerry the mechanic not only told me what my car needed, he also showed me so I could see for myself. They explained everything thoroughly and answered questions. This was my first time taking my car to AAMCO, but I will use them from now on.

AAMCO of Staten Island is the ONLY shop that I bring my cars to. Joe and Roger are the consummate professionals and provide exceptional service. They are knowledgeable and do not take advantage of their customers. As a woman, and someone who understands the automotive repair business, integrity is key. All too often, women are seen as "easy marks" when it comes to auto repair and are taken advantage of. That is not the case at AAMCO of Staten Island. Roger and Joe take time to explain the work that needs to be done and the reason. I have also witnessed them provide customers with a "triage" list of items that need to be repaired/replaced immediately (or sooner) and what can wait, even if it's another 1,000 miles. They don't up-sell, they tell it like it is. I have recommended AAMCO of Staten Island to all of my friends and family and never question my choice of auto repair shops. AAMCO has a sign that reads "Only One Guy Gets Under My Baby's Hood" - and I agree-AAMCO of Staten Island!

I was very satisfied with the service at AAMCO and overall it was a great experience. For starters, they had a great towing service, which really helped me out because I was stuck pretty far away so they called an independant towing company to pick my car up. When I was coming to get my car from the shop, they were actually supposed to be closed, and they waited another 2 hours for me to get there! Coming from an automotive background, this really means alot. I was just very happy with their service and I would definitely go back!

Let me start by saying I need a rebuilt manual Transmission for my 2012 Kia Soul. 1. I brought it back to the Kia dealership , WOW was I in for a big surprise, 2. regarding the the warranty- there was none, and 3. the dealership mechanic told me he hasn't ever worked on a "manual Transmission". I brought me and my Kia straight over to AAMCO these guys are fantastic! from the moment I step into the center the Owner & Manager- keep me posted with all the details, their very throw and a center you can trust- I highly recommend them to everyone

The center ran a full diagnostic- I knew the car was have some big issue, AAMCO resolved and fixed everyone from new brakes, belts, hose, trans, plugs . Finally a center I know I can trust and respect and great service to – I would recommend them to everyone
This place is absolutely amazing! I like how they sort of build a personal relationship with you, and they always tell you information in detail upfront.!They always keep my best interest as their focus! I'm sure there have been times where it seems easy to take advantage of me, and try to get me to pay more, but you'll never get that here at AAMCO. I'd recommend AAMCO to anyone.

I went to them because my engine check light was on and when I tried to schedule an appointment w the car dealership, the next appointment was in a month. So I went to this AAMCO instead. They were so friendly and very professional. You could tell that this was really family owned. There was something about it that said family owned. He asked me a couple of questions and told me not to worry bc it probably was nothing big. Then, it turned out it was a minor thing so he said "no charge" Who says that in this time and age??!! That was so unexpected. It is rare nowadays to encounter honest and kind business owners.....I'll take my car to them from now on. Thank you!
